Hello and welcome to my blog, Makeup Your Mind! My name is Mimi (pictured), you can read more about me on my About Me page! My blog is dedicated to challenging the misconception that makeup is purely about vanity, as it is so much more.

Makeup Your Mind is named suitably, as makeup is an outward expression of your internal self, comparable to the clothes one wears or art one produces. Makeup allows me to put my truest and best foot forward. Although it may sound silly, I feel most myself when I have makeup on – and I’m not alone.

How I feel when my makeup looks good:

It is a common belief that makeup is deceiving, and used by women to gain the attention of men. As a lover of makeup, I'm here to provide evidence that makeup can help us reveal our best and truest self, not distort who we really are - and show you how to make the most of makeup along the way!

This blog will include interviews of women who use makeup for different reasons, getting a range of perspectives (even those divergent from my own). Some blogs will be dedicated to beauty product must-haves that help my friends and I become the best version of our selves on days that we need it most! (Feel free to send in suggestions here!)
