Tricia Krumpholz is the lucky bride who won our Classic Pearls Giveaway. Her name was picked out of a drawing of dozens of young women who purchased gowns from Mimi’s Bridal Boutique starting on our special White Friday event up through December 22. Tricia was born and raised in Brighton and is a Physician’s Assistant in Cardiology at Sinai Grace Hospital in Detroit. She and her fiancé Alex will celebrate their wedding on June 6, 2015 at the Royal Park Hotel in Rochester, MI. (We’d love to show you the gorgeous wedding gown that she chose but it’s a secret, of course, until her big day!)

Tricia’s prize is a lovely strand of freshwater pearls with an 18k gold clasp handcrafted by Yvette Mikho, jewelry maker and owner of Mimi’s Bridal Boutique. Tricia, we wish you a glorious wedding day with lots of fun. We also wish you many years of good luck wearing your new pearls and hope they become an heirloom in your family.

Yvette has been making high-end jewelry for almost her entire life. At a young age, she found she had a passion for pearls, precious stones, and antique pieces of gold. A native of Iraq, her biggest inspiration came from seeing the famous Nimrud Treasure in 1984 at the National Museum of Iraq in Baghdad. This ancient jewelry collection dates back 2800 years and represents the height of the Assyrian Civilization.
