There are so many beautiful things about Erin’s wedding that it’s hard to know where to begin: gorgeous church, full choir, perfect floral bouquet, great reception venue, and of course, a beautiful bride in a stunning gown. And did I mention a handsome groom? I feel like I missed the event of the season!

Erin married Will in Birmingham, Alabama on October 4th. She wore an elegant lace Augusta Jones gown called Bell, one of our favorites from this very feminine and romantic British designer.

Why this gown? Here’s what Erin had to say
The Augusta Jones dress was actually the first dress I tried on. Of course, I tried on another 30 all over town before coming back to this one. I loved the timeless elegance and formality of the lace. The belt gave it some bling and personality. It was the most slimming gown by far and fit my mental image of what I wanted. My bridal consultant was Diana and she was great: very helpful but also no nonsense. She wasn’t afraid to give her opinion, which is really what I needed.

Erin and Will are both from Birmingham. They met at a church youth group while in middle school. As fate would have it, they both attended medical school at the University of Alabama where they renewed their friendship and started dating 10 years ago. Erin is now an Ob-Gyn physician at St. Joe’s here in Ann Arbor and Will is doing his medical residency at the University of Michigan.

Erin, thanks for letting Diana and Mimi’s Bridal be a part of your gown search. We wish you many, many years of joy together. (And tell Will we’re happy he’s added Maize and Blue to the Crimson Tide.)
