One of the biggest bridal trends this season is the detailing on the back of wedding gowns. Whether it’s a low back, an illusion lace back or simply using the placement of more buttons, bridal designers are giving more attention to details on gowns as seen from behind.
Here are three of our favorites worn by our lovely model, Kara. First is an elegant lace gown by romantic British designer, Augusta Jones called “Jo”. It’s a fit and flair, high scoop neckline with a plunging low back, long sleeves and features what they call a “tattoo” lace. We think it’s timeless and feminine with just the right amount of “edge”.

Here’s another favorite called “Cinzia” by Watters. This gorgeous gown is a fit and flare silhouette with a beaded Heritage lace motif that cascades down the dress and opens to a skirt made of English netting. There’s a stretch charmeuse under slip for added comfort, which is offered in colors ivory, amaretto and bronze. This is for the bride who wants a sexy and glamorous gown on her big day.

And lastly, there’s “Demi” by Amsale. This is a silk crepe sheath or column gown that flares slightly at the bottom. The back detailing features a ribbon of buttons down an illusion back. The surprise of this dress is in the back peplum that accentuates the female shape. Very chic, very sophisticated.

A special thank you to our model Kara for taking some time off from her busy school schedule to help us with the photo shoot. We love you, Kara!
