Meet Our Beautiful Twin Brides: Victoria and Jennifer

This is the story of two lovely sisters. We had the great fortune of meeting them when they came to our salon searching for the perfect gowns.

They grew up in Milan. They picked the same career and received their Bachelors of Science from The University of Michigan in dental hygiene. And boy do they look alike! This is the real thing – identical twins!

Now here’s where they differ. Victoria is one minute older. She met her husband Jon at Damon’s Bar and Grill where they both worked. She knew he was “the One” after their first date when he taught her how to play pool. After her engagement, she visited several gown shops to no avail. Yet when she tried on our ­­­Allure Couture Style C170 ball gown, her search ended! She and Jon married on September 29, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Milan with the reception at Laurel Manor in Livonia. (In case you need help telling the girls apart, Victoria is in the gown with the heavily-beaded bodice and the ruffled organza skirt.)

Jennifer met Brian on Match.com and they just clicked from the very beginning. That was it. She was smitten. After she got engaged, she started looking at gowns but didn’t find anything that she loved. During her appointment with us, her sister and her best friend spotted a Hayley Paige ball gown named Guindon. They suggested she try it on and when Jennifer came out of the dressing room, she knew it was “The One”. She loved the unique striped fabric and the fullness of the skirt. She and Brian were married on July 19, 2014 at the Ann Arbor City Club.

Now for the best part of this story – Victoria just had her first child on 4/29, a beautiful little boy named Quinn. And Jennifer is expecting her first baby in early August.

These are some of my favorite wedding photos because of the colors and the drama of both ball gowns. And what a delight it is to see two sisters having such a great time at each other’s wedding. We at Mimi’s couldn't be happier.
