With soft pink hues, fields of dandelions, a barn reception, and a gorgeous gown called Byron by Hayley Paige, this rustic chic wedding was a beautiful sight to behold.

It’s also the love story of two Taylors. Hard to believe, but yes, both bride and groom are named Taylor. They met in Miami during Spring Break of their senior year of high school and spent some time together back home in Michigan before leaving for college. Seven years later, Taylor the Groom found Taylor the Bride’s number, wanting to catch up after losing contact. Within 9 months they were engaged.

At Mimi’s, Hayley Paige gowns are some of our very favorites and Byron is no exception. It’s actually a 2-piece gown: the first is a short lace dress and the second is a flounced tulle skirt. We love its lightness and how it looks like a ball gown without all the weight.

How did Taylor find the perfect gown? Here’s what she said:
Mimi’s was the first and only bridal salon I visited. My sister made the appointment for the Hayley Paige trunk show and I knew right away that I would fall in love with one of her dresses. They are the perfect combination of femininity, romance and effortless beauty. When I put on “the” gown in the dressing room, before I had even looked in the mirror, my consultant said, “This is the gown for you.” When we opened the door and everyone’s eyes filled with tears, I knew she was right.

Taylor and Taylor were married on May 16th at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lansing with the reception at RaOna Acres in Williamston. After their honeymoon in Portugal, they moved to Mississippi for Taylor the Groom’s job and have been settling into Southern living as newlyweds.

Congratulations to this beautiful couple. We wish them a Hundred Years of Happiness!
