We've all had crushes, some stronger than others. Just imagine you end up spending the rest of your life with your high school crush. For most of us this is a love story we only encounter in our favorite romantic comedy but for Caitlin and Matt it was their real life. From what started out as a teenage friendship which bloomed into an adulthood romance, their tale continues on with a lifetime of commitment and happiness and a wedding day of perfection.

The perfect wedding day needs the perfect wedding gown. We are so happy that we, the staff at Mimi's, could help Caitlin find her gown. Caitlin's wedding gown embraced elegance with a touch of sparkle. She wore a stunning Liancarlo fit and flare tulle gown with floral embroidery and scattered crystals. Caitlin was a breathtakingly beautiful bride, sparkling from head to Jimmy Choo covered toes.

"I actually told my Mom at one point that I didn't think I would ever get that "feeling"... It was the second one I tried on and I immediately fell in love. My mom and I were both in tears and I felt so beautiful. I finally got that feeling that everyone had been telling me about, so I knew that I had found my dress."

Caitlin met Matt at Divine Child High School in Dearborn where they both grew up. Caitlin admits to having a huge crush on Matt during those high school years but nothing came of it except for a friendship that continued through their college years. After high school Matt went off to Michigan State to study engineering and Caitlin attended Madonna University in Livonia and studied nursing, all the while still maintaining a close friendship. Fast forward to Summer 2009 when Matt returned home from college and much of their time was spent together. By November of that same year Caitlin and Matt were officially a couple.

"He just couldn't resist me any longer ;)"

Fast forward again to June 13, 2015: Wedding Day. This beautiful couple was married at the Church of the Divine Child. Getting married there was very important for them because it held special significance, since it is the church associated with the school where they met. Their reception was classic as it was held at the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth which provided the perfect venue of elegance. From the church ceremony to the choice in reception venue, with pictures taken in downtown Plymouth, everything about their wedding encompasses what makes a 'classic'.

We wish Caitlin and Matt a lifetime of happiness and bliss!
